Biology, Chemistry and Maths tutoring around King's Lynn

ABOUT THE SCIENCE TUTOR

I have been tutoring GCSE students for two years, and have learned how to explain complex ideas in chemistry, biology, and maths to students of all abilities. In the coming months, I will be making and publishing tutorial videos on many of the more challenging areas in all three subjects, which will be freely available to all those tutored by me.

Having recently completed A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Maths, I have now begun tutoring A-Level students in these subject too. I am predicted A* in both science subjects and A in maths and have a deep understanding of all content in the three subjects (the A-Level maths course has changed, so some content on new exams may differ from content on my course).

I use an iPad and pencil for all lesson, which means all notes, ideas, and questions are stored indefinitely and are available as PDFs copies to the student.

SCIENCE TUTORING

Science is often a challenging subject for students, especially with the new more challenging GCSEs and A-Levels. My lessons will focus less on the content, and more on the understanding, which will ensure students are much more well equipped to tackle tricky application style questions, which seem to be more common on the new exams.
I will also be sharing some useful revision and time management strategies, along with how to approach each style of question in an exam.

MATHS TUTORING

All maths lessons are tailored specifically to the student. Whether it's surds, sequences or solving quadratics; lessons will be delivered in a concise and easy to comprehend manner which will quickly improve the student's ability to understand and manipulate numbers.

Students will also receive help in setting work out correctly, and how to correctly approach each type of question in order to gain maximum marks.

ABOUT ME

I have just completed my final A-Level examinations at Springwood High School in King's Lynn, and am looking to apply for medicine at Cambridge in October. I will be tutoring from July 2018 through to September 2019 during my gap year, in which I also plan to work as a lifeguard.

I have achieved A* in biology, chemistry, and physics international GCSEs, and am predicted A*A*A in my A-Levels.

In other aspects of my life, I compete at a national level in swimming for West Norfolk Swimming Club, competing at the Edinburgh International Swim Meet in March 2018, and the English Summer Championships in 2017.
